Steinberger

Hello.............

I'd like to know who was contracted to do the manufacturing for the "Spirit" series of basses and guitars. I recently stumbled across a disturbing and unfortunate story on the web regarding the mistreatment of Korean workers by Cor-Tek (Cort Guitars) and it made me wonder. I wasn't able to find a connection to Steinberger models directly but there was a connection to some Gibson models. Can I tell from my serial number where the manufacturing facility was? If anyone knows, I'd appreciate any info you could offer. Thanks.................Vince V.

sorry - I don't know any direct information concerning this but Gibson is known for their mistreatment of US employee's...  I sure hope they selected a reputable company for overseas manufacturing!
