Steinberger

Hello fellow Steinberger enthusiasts!  My XL2A has been in it's bag for quite a while because of a stripped string claw. I'm getting all the claws reworked by a machinist friend. I've forgotten where the 8 tiny flat washers go. Are they on either side of the 4 springs... or between the tuning knob and the base of the bridge... or ?...

they go outside the bridge, between the bridge & tuning knob. 2 per knob. you may consider getting some stainless steel claws - there's a guy on ebay that sells 'em and they're well worth the price!
