This looks like it will be a really interesting project...  how can we beat the ST-2FPA though?  This will take some real thought and input since the ST-2FPA and SS2f have some great features such as the pieze pickups and transcale system...

Although a simple active electronics setup, and perhaps one more pickup could be a great option...  especially if its less expensive than a ss2f or st-2fpa.
